The HCM City People's Committee has just established an interdisciplinary working group to implement urban railway projects on the basis of merging and consolidating the Steering Committee of Metro lines No. 1 (Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien) and No. 2 (Ben Thanh - Tham Salary). The task is to solve the problems that occur when implementing projects, help the city to manage specialized fields and perform some tasks under the authorization of the City People's Committee.
The 22-member working group, led by the Vice-President of Urban Tran Vinh Tuyen, was also assigned to research projects to negotiate and sign a loan agreement to accelerate the progress and help the City People's Committee. There are optimal technical options for Metro routes.
